The Directors of the program were the Honoured Artist of Russia Maskhud Beshkok and the Honoured Artist of Kabardin-Balkar Republic Grigori Galperin.
     The music director was the Honoured Artist of Russia Kirim Tletseruk.

     21 May 1972 the ensemble performed this concert pro-gram for the first time in the Pushkin theatre.

     Thanks to the impressive dances artistic arrangement, folk music played by brilliant professionals stage costumes, which were made by the best costume masters of Moskow and Leningrad (St. Petersburg) Ensemble was the great suc-cess a young creative group appeared which was able to keep and develop rich choreographic art of Adygeans.
     The tours of the young group in Czecko-Slovak, Bul-garia, Poland, Japan were the great success.
     The group was awarded with Lenin-komsomol prize of N. Ostrovski.
     In 1978 the ensemble became the diplomant of the Russians competition of professional groups in Moscow.

     The leading ballet-dancers got the high government prizes.The names of the Honoured artists of Russia got A. Baste, A. Barcho, M. Khodzoev, T Baste got the name of the honoured artist of Abkhazia and H. Barcho, S. Tlhutsh got the names of the Honoured artists of Adygheya.

     Next years many famous ballet-masters (such as L.Smolyanskii, H Varsiev, G. Galperin, H Daskuev, R. Huako, M. Khodzhoev) worked with the group and these people greatly developed the adygean choreographical art.
     The staff was reinforced with young dancers, who graduated from the choreographical school of the college of art.

     In 1991 A. Kulov The new artistic director and ballet-master completely renewed the repertoire.
The stage caucasian dance took the new form. The new dances appeared in the program, their new elements were taken from the old ritual folk dances.      These dances have authentic folk movements and tempo-rhythmical structure of folk music which is played with old folk instruments. All these things distinguish the group from other Caucasian dance groups.

     "Udzh khurai", "Zagatlyat", "Islamei", "The necklace of folkdances of Adygean Diaspora", "Leperish", "Nalmes is dancing" etc are the identity-card of "Nalmes"
     This new program helped the group get the laureate of the international festival of Adygean culture. They group won the great prize of the international folk dance competi-tion in Turkey. "Nalmes" became the laureate of the inter-national folkdance festivals in Jordan, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium and Germany
     In 1996 for the high achievements in developing Ady-gean folk dance and for the great dancing skills "Nalmes" received the high name "academic".

     The best dancers were also commended with government awards: Muhamed Kulov-the Honoured Artist of Russia, People's Artist of Adygheya; Aslan Namitokov-the Honorued Artist of Abkhazia, People's Artist of Adygheya; Galim Zubail, Vladislav Tkharkakho, Adam Aliberdov, Rimma Namitokova, Mirra Kulova, Victoria Sedneva, Skhatbii Berzegov - the Honoured Artists of Adygheya; Ruslan Abdokov and Aidemir Nanis - The honoured Artists of Kabardin-Balkar Republic.
     Nowadays the State Aca-demic Ensemble of Folkdance of Adygheya "Nalmes" is the collector guardian and interpreter of the Adygean folk music and dancing. "Nalmes" remember with gratitude the people who started, developed and propagandized the Ady-gean folkdance.
