The adygean choreographic is the most important treasure of folk creativity, which has a centuries old history of the development.
     The ancient forms of the folk creativity , the traditional from of dancing folklore confirm, that the cho-reographic culture of Adygeans is closely connected with the history of the folk
     The brave character of the adygean dance as the feature of adygean people were formed during centu-ries and within that long historical period they carried out the set of special functions in the life of the soci-ety.
     In games and competitions the dances were the ways of physical education and training, prepared young men for marches and for heroic deeds for holi-days and celebrations and all this was a part of aes-thetic bringing up and development.

     The following times the functions of dances changed a little, they were danced not only before the marches and important events in the life of adygean people, but also they were danced at weddings parties and games.
     So the dances, which became the spiritual part of the life and developed as an art, show us the age-old idea of the beauty, harmony, sense of rhythm and of course the soul and psychology of the nation.
     For the short historical period the adygean people have succeded in this kind of creativity.
     The important changes in the development of the singing art have happened in modern time.

     In 1934 by the decision of the authorities of Ady-gheya in Krasnodar a college of the art of the theater was opened, where dancers, singers and musicians from native people of Adygeya were taught together with theatre actors.
     In 1936 the theatre was organized from the gradua-tors of that college and it consisted of the dancers and singers. The same year the dancers, singers and musi-cians separated from the theatre and the state ensemble of folkdance and song was organized and it was the first professional ensemble, where folksongs and dances were performed.
     Since that time the songs and dances became more professional and it was on important event in the cul-ture of adygean people.
     The first director and organizer of the adygean en-semble was the great expert, adygean folk art and cul-ture lover, great dancer and horseback rider Abdul Bedzhashev.

     The artistic-director was the talented composer, the founder of the modern adygean music, poet and folklorist Shaban Kubov and the first ballet-master Se-kerzhinskii.

     The creation and first performances of the group were interpreted in the newspaper ÓAdygheiskaya PravdaÔ of 16.08.1936 in the flouring way ÓThe Adygean national ensemble has already been organized.

     The staff consists of the best singers, dancers and musicians from all parts of Adygheya.
     16.08.1936 the ensemble performed in the city park.
     18.08.1936 the group is going to Rostov-on-Don to take part in the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the north coucasian military district. The ensemble was organized by Shaban Kubov, the artistic arrangement by ballet-master SekerzhinskiiÓ
     For the short period of time the ensemble became a real academy of folk music, song and dance
Adygean people respected their ensemble.
     The repertoire of the ensemble consisted of native folklore of the adygean people. The main part of the repertoire, took historical songs and weeping songs which showed the hard life of adygean people, their struggle for freedom and independence and also songs, which were the result of the new life.
